Being deaf since birth, Matthew’s unparalleled sense of taste comes through in his abilities to discern the nuances of flavor. Matthew is nationally known as the super taster. Matthew shares his culinary knowledge with the deaf community by hosting a deaf cooking show “Simply Cooking” by Sorenson.
Through Jason’s business training and background, he is a logistics, operations and design master! He excels in taking a client’s vision and executing each detail to create a seamless event. Jason’s creative right brain balances his logistical left brain and allows him to adjusts on a dime, a necessity in the catering and event industry.
Chef Roberto’s experience comes from catering and hotel kitchen operations both local and abroad. Operating a successful catering kitchen requires experience. Roberto’s oversight assures consistent quality and on time delivery. Chef thrives while working with Chef Matthew on up-and-coming trends. Roberto’s strength is in interpreting Matthew’s culinary direction while keeping the business of catering execution in mind.
Fresh out of college, Bianca was looking for a start in the culinary world. She started as a server and was soon promoted to catering sales and event planning. Her effort, passion and commitment to detail create security for Feast’s clients. Her natural ability to tap in to trends makes it so much fun for clients to plan events with Bianca. Feast on This promises clients that they will exceed their expectations and Bianca makes that happen.
Son of a deaf mother, Dustin was groomed to become an American Sign Language Interpreter and is the Executive Director of Clip Interpreting. He is our resident communications director providing seamless conversations among deaf and hearing staff and clients.
Leela graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and an emphasis on American Sign Language. She loves working at Feast because it allows her to practice signing with Matthew and others on the catering team while helping manage important financial decisions.
Hannah has strong interest in the “behind-the-scenes” aspect of business. Growing up as an Air Force kid, she acquired the skills to adapt to ever-changing environments making accounting and catering a perfect fit.
In various capacities, Melissa has been a long time member of the Feast family. She has an uncanny way of connecting with people, which allows her to understand and execute each client’s vision with perfection and ease.
