Responsible for all aspects of food including delivery, storage, preparation, presentation, and quality. Must have experience in various levels of service (plated, buffet, action station) and able to lead a culinary team.
Able to work in a team environment, take direction well, follow recipes and guidelines and have a passion for well prepared, beautiful, and thoughtfully sourced food at events.
Responsible for all aspects of setup and breakdown as well as the operation, flow, and timing of the front of the house during the event. Maintains client contact and ensures that all guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Must be able to lead a front of house team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Event Setup:
- Assist with unloading truck with catering equipment
- Complete food and table setup and preparations for the event including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, polished silverware, glassware, etc
- Setup buffets, food and beverage stations as set by company standards
Service:
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival helping with seating and beverage service
- Be familiar with food items/ingredients and venue facilities
- Replenish buffets and food stations efficiently and in a timely manner
- Have knowledge of plated dinner service and present to guests with synchronized service
- Provide exceptional service, check-in regularly and respond promptly to guests
- Anticipate guests needs including refilling drinks, clearing plates, etc
Event Breakdown:
- Clean up and strike venue after event ends
- Assist with inventory, food storage and loading trucks
- Other tasks as assigned
Acts as intermediary between kitchen and front of house. Assist with cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils, and drinkware and ensuring guest’s beverages are full. Also, assist servers with bringing food from the kitchen to the front of house.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Event Setup:
- Assist with unloading truck
- Locate all bar items including alcohol, glassware, bar kits, sodas, mixers and garnishes
- Set up bar according to company standards
- Inventory alcohol provided from Feast or client
- Prep all bar garnish
Service:
- Serve broad range on wine, spirits and mixed drinks to guests
- Tableside wine, champagne or alcohol service
- Responsible for ensuring all alcohol is served to guests over 21
- Required to monitor alcohol intake of guests in accordance with venue’s services and insurance
- Maintain a clean bar and adhere to all Alcohol Beverage Commission regulations, health department safety and standards
- Manage payment if cash bar
Post Event:
- Inventory leftover alcohol and pack up
- Breakdown bar
- Assist with loading truck
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory and doublecheck items to ensure all items are accounted for according to Special Events Order (SEO)
- Load food, beverage and equipment on to truck in a safe and orderly manner
- Unload truck at delivery site
- Setup food and beverage stations according to company standards prior to event start
- If requested, serve food to guests
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Pack all food, beverage and equipment at event end time
- Pick up trash and clean venue area
- Responsible for cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Provide quality customer service and superior attention to detail
- Performs other duties as assigned
Responsible for pulling, packing, organizing and labeling event supplies as well as loading and unloading company vehicles.
